Our vision is to see God's redeeming work established in our city by living in authentic union with Jesus, as one family, seeing and loving one person at a time.
Our Values
-
1. Jesus is for Everyone.
We believe people matter to God, and therefore we should all matter to one another . Jesus invites everyone to know Him and sit at His Table. He welcomes and reaches into the community and the world. We invite our friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and even strangers to this community of faith. We reach into the community in love and service to others so that everyone can see us reflect the love of Jesus Christ. Mark 16:15
-
2. The Bible is Our Authority.
The Bible (the Word) is the supreme source of God’s revelation of Himself to humanity and our ultimate authority for Christian beliefs and living. We believe the Word is the catalyst for a transformative life of faith in Christ. We honor Scripture in all we do, and we teach it in its historical and Biblical context. We seek to apply it to our lives in practical, relevant ways.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 -
3. Everyone is Welcome.
We believe everyone matters to God, so people matter to us. We will treat every person who walks through the doors of our fellowship like family. All people, regardless of age, race, or walk of life will be loved, encouraged and welcomed. Matthew 5:16
-
4. We Move Forward
Even as we welcome all into walking in community with God, we encourage everyone to be in continual transformation for drawing nearer to God. God calls to all of us as we are and beckons us further to become what He plans for us. We are called to look more like Jesus each day. As fully devoted followers of Christ, we are called to grow strong in Christ and to continually take steps towards growth. Ephesians 4:13
-
5. We Are Better Together
Relationships are a priority to Jesus. The great commandment (Matthew 26:36-40) emphasizes loving relationships. We believe life change happens through connecting, serving and growing with others. We grow best when we are in community. Joining a Connect Group is an important way to live life in fellowship with others. Acts 2:46-48
-
6. We Are Equipped to Make a Difference
We believe everyone is called and uniquely created to make a difference in the world. Jesus served people and called us to do the same. We discover, develop, and use our gifts within The Table. We also use those gifts to minister to the needs of our local community and our world. Serving is the pathway to true significance and a meaningful life. Ephesians 4:12
-
7. We Are Worshippers
We believe that all people are created in the image of God for His glory. While all of humanity may not yet be aware of this, Christians are called to be worshippers of God. We worship in public and private through prayer, reading the Word, and our pursuit of other spiritual disciplines. Ephesians 5:19-20
-
8. We Live Generously
Everything we have comes from God who has given each person something they can share to serve and bless others. We are people who invest in the advancement of God’s kingdom. We will lead the way as a faith community and as individuals by joyfully giving our time, talent and treasure. Malachi 3:10, Psalm 50:14-15
-
9. We Celebrate Life
Life offers joys and sorrows. But living in fellowship with Jesus and others as we pursue these values is meant to be enjoyed. We undertake our calling seriously, with humility and lots of laughter. Ecclesiastes 9:7–10
